Founder & Clinical Director
Megan Tantillo, DNP, FNP-BC
Megan Tantillo is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and Founder and Clinical Director of Holistic Health Code (hhc+), an integrative and functional medicine practice based in Farmington, Connecticut.
Megan began her nursing career at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she gained experience across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties before advancing into critical care at Hartford Hospital's Level I Trauma Center. Her background in conventional medicine, combined with her own personal health journey, inspired her to explore a more comprehensive and individualized approach to healthcare.
Recognizing the need for a healthcare model that prioritizes prevention, patient education, and understanding the underlying contributors to illness, Megan founded Holistic Health Code in 2018. What began as a virtual health coaching practice has grown into a multidisciplinary integrative and functional medicine clinic serving individuals and families in Connecticut and across multiple states.
Throughout her career, Megan has pursued advanced training and clinical mentorship in functional medicine, hormone health, and complex chronic illness. Her experience includes working alongside Deanna M. Cherrone, MD, IFMCP, with a focus on Lyme disease, mold-related illness, and individualized treatment approaches. She has also completed advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS).
During her doctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Megan designed and implemented a telehealth education and group coaching program focused on improving diabetes self-management. This work further reinforced her belief in the importance of patient education, collaborative care, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Megan provides personalized care for individuals and families across the lifespan. Her approach integrates conventional medical evaluation and treatment with functional medicine principles, combining diagnostic testing, medication management, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions to support long-term health.
Her clinical interests include:
Hormone health, perimenopause, menopause, and fertility
Lyme disease, tick-borne co-infections, and complex chronic illness
Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
Digestive health and gastrointestinal disorders
Metabolic health, insulin resistance, and longevity
Pediatric health, including PANS/PANDAS
As Founder and Clinical Director, Megan is passionate about building a collaborative team of providers who share her commitment to thoughtful, individualized care. Her vision for hhc+ is to create a healthcare experience where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.
Outside the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, Pilates, and experimenting with healthy recipes—especially smoothies and oatmeal pancakes.
