Family Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Mitchell, FNP-BC, IFMCP

Elizabeth Mitchell is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in multiple states, providing thoughtful, individualized care to both children and adults. She specializes in complex chronic conditions, with particular expertise in women's hormone health, connective tissue disorders, mast cell activation, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and PANS/PANDAS.

Elizabeth has extensive experience helping medically complex patients navigate what can often feel like a fragmented and frustrating healthcare system. Her perspective became even more personal after her own autoimmune diagnosis, which revealed just how often patients fall through the cracks. That experience led her to pursue advanced training in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine, shaping her integrative, root-cause approach to care.

Over time, Elizabeth recognized a pattern: many patients were being told “everything looks normal” while still feeling anything but normal. Her practice was built around changing that narrative. She approaches care with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to look deeper, because if you’re still searching for answers, the work isn’t done yet.

As an integrative provider, Elizabeth looks at the full picture, including biology, lifestyle, and environment, to create personalized care plans that actually make sense for real life. She has a special interest in supporting patients who have felt dismissed or overlooked, helping them feel heard, understood, and more in control of their health.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find Elizabeth strength training, hiking New Hampshire trails, or planning her next trip with impressive attention to detail—skills that, fortunately, also translate well to solving complex medical puzzles.

She is licensed in NH, ME, VT, MA, CT, RI, GA, FL, NY, and CA.
